Irving Morse

Irving R. Morse of Sarasota, FL died February 13, 2017. He was born in Calais, VT to John Morse and Mary (Robinson) Morse and lived most of his life in Worcester, MA where he was a bank vice president. Married for 48 years to Dorothy (Bedard) Morse, they had 5 children: Carol Orr (John), Virginia Hamburg (Paul), Donald Morse (Debra), Brian Morse (Liz), and Robin Renna (Jerry). In 1982, they moved to Englewood, FL for the warm weather and golf. After Dorothy's death, Irving married Patricia McConnell, becoming a beloved stepfather to Karin Johnson (Robert), Gail McConnell, Mark McConnell and Donald McConnell (deceased). Irving relished the numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren he was blessed with. He was a kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Per his wishes, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Senior Friendship Center of Sarasota.
