James âJim' T. Novak of North Port, FL passed away April 5, 2014 at the Douglas T. Jacobson Veterans Home in Port Charlotte. Jim was born April 25, 1942 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Jim served in the U.S. Navy for 25 years. Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Howell Novak, son and daughter in law Jim and Alicia Novak, grandson and wife Daniel and Kristin Novak, granddaughter Laura Novak, siblings Leona Novak, Cynthia Zielinski, Charles Novak and lifelong friend Teddy Ellis; preceded in death by parents Charles J. and Helen L. Novak. Donations can be made to Sun Coast Humane Society 6781 San Casa Englewood, FL 34224. Arrangements made by Farley Funeral Home, North Port, Florida.
