Janet Mae Swayze

We lost our mother, Janet Mae Swayze, age 71, who passed away on July 11, 2014 surrounded by her kids and family in her home in Bradenton after a long battle with cancer. She worked at the Bradenton Country Club for many years struggling to support her kids and grandson for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Swayze a veteran of the Vietnam War who died on March 5, 2004 where she will meet in heaven. She is survived by her children; Wanda Button, Donald Brown, Robbie Brown, ten grandchildren and also seven great-grandchildren. She tried to see them as much as possible and she loved her family and her grandchildren. Mom will be greatly missed but we know that she has no more pain. We love her and miss her but will be with her again in heaven and that we will be together again. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00PM on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A funeral service will be held at Farley Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 12:00PM with a graveside service to be held at 2:00PM at Sarasota National Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
