Mr. Burgess is survived by his wife, Mary Barbara Wilhelm Burgess of Nokomis, Florida and Montgomery, Alabama; two daughters, Brandi Burgess Evans and husband, Robert of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Belinda Burgess of Chicago, Illinois; one son, Bryan Burgess of Rome, Georgia; two grandchildren, Abygail Avery and Brienna Evans; brother, David Burgess of Richwood, Texas and a sister, Janet Burgess Patillo of Atlanta, Texas.
