Joan Marie Gallagher

Joan Marie Gallagher, 87, of Venice, FL, formerly of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on July 27, 2017. Joan was born on January 11, 1930 to Catherine and James Barraga. She was a homemaker and moved to the area in 1989. She was predeceased by her husband, Cormick Gallagher, who was a WWII Navy veteran, and a retired Jersey City, NJ fireman. Survivors include her son, Thomas (Debbi) Gallagher of Point Pleasant, NJ, son, William James Gallagher of Venice, FL, son, Robert Gallagher of Venice, FL, daughter, Joanne (Carnell) Booth of Canton, GA; sister, Catherine Ziegler of Bayonne, NJ; and grandchildren, Jason Joseph Booth of Canton, GA, Andrew Booth of Woodstock, GA, Kaitlin Booth of Canton, GA, and Brian Gallagher of Point Pleasant, NJ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 10AM - 12PM at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel. A prayer service will begin at 12 PM, followed by burial at Venice Memorial Gardens.
