Johanna E. Baessler

Johanna E. Baessler, 85, of Venice, FL passed away December 8, 2016. Johanna was born December 2, 1931 in Schorndorf, Germany to Bertha and Karl Baessler. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking and enjoying the company of her dogs, Schatzi and later, Moritz. Survivors include her two sons, Ralph Butler and wife Rosemary Butler of Albuquerque, NM and Glenn Butler and wife Paula Butler of Gallatin, TN, her sister, Lore Rios of Cloverdale, CA and brother Erich Baessler of Schorndorf, Germany as well as grandchildren Lisa and Julie Butler and Bobby and Jennifer Butler. Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory, Venice Chapel is handling the arrangements.
