John Anthony Bassi

John Anthony Bassi, 84, of North Port passed away February 21, 2015 with his loving family at his side. Mr. Bassi served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and he operated a lawn care company for many years. John is survived by his loving wife Caryl, children Lauren, John, Jr., and Linda, 6 precious grandchildren, and 1 cherished great grandchild. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Thursday, February 26th at the funeral home. Graveside services, including military honors will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.
