John Thomas Maske (Meskaukes) was born in Chicago, IL on April 26, 1927. The son of John Meskaukes and Grace Karpis, he attended grade school in Chicago, IL.
His family moved to a farm in Paw Paw, MI, where he attended high school prior to enlisting in the US Navy in 1945. After returning home from service at the end of WWII, he briefly attended Western Michigan University and was a Sloane Fellow at MIT and graduated with an MBA.
After a brief stint with RCA, he married Patricia M. Cupp of Hartford for 59 years. After a successful career of Vice President of IBM for thrity years, and two sons, John and Todd, he retired and went on to serve as Vice President of Prime Computers.
After John and his current wife, Ina, both lost their spouses, they both reconnected and joined in Holy Matrimony at the Venice Presbyterian Church.
John leaves behind a wonderful family of two sons, John Jr, and Todd; and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
