Judy Lynn Waters

Judy Waters passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home in North Port, FL. Born May 6, 1961 in Norwich, CT, their family moved frequently due to their father's military service until settling down in Baltic, CT where she met her husband of 37 years, Timothy Waters in 1978. They married shortly after her high school graduation and moved to Kansas City, MO where they welcomed their first child, Timothy Waters, Jr. in August 1979. In October 1984 they welcomed their daughter, Amanda Barton. Judy then pursued her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse and she graduated from Mohegan Community College in December 1988. She worked for 18 years as a nurse touching many peoples lives. In January 2005 she moved with her husband to North Port, FL to be closer to her parents, Barbara and Owen Gatewood. Judy's happiest days were when her grandchildren; Kaitlyn Waters, Zachary Barton, Amelia Barton, Caitlynn Barton and Aiden Grisham were born. Judy is survived by all those mentioned above as well as her two younger sisters; Tammy Hillman, Terry Paradis; daughter-in-laws, Jennifer Waters, Meloney Kinkade; son-in-law, Jason Barton and her beloved beagle, Gideon. Services for Judy are incomplete at this time. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
