Julian J. Val, Sr.

Julian J. Val, Sr., formerly of Danbury, age 66, has gone on to be with the
Lord on May 6th, 2016 in Venice Florida, after a long battle with cancer.
Julian was born July 18, 1949 at Danbury Hospital, beloved son of Aida
(Oliva) Val and the late John A. Val. Julian graduated from Danbury High
School Class of 1967. He was the captain of the wrestling team and the
co-captain of the football team. He went on to follow in his father's
footsteps in the tire business. As a prominent business man he owned and
operated Val-U Tire & Auto before he retired to Venice Florida. He was an
avid fisherman, golfer and was an active member of the Portuguese Cultural
Center.
Julian is survived by his mother Aida Val, his wife Adelina Val, his
children Dawn (David) Schultz, Jon (Jennier), Julian Jr (Cristina) Val.
His grandchildren Christopher (Catherine) Val, Kelsie and Nicolas
Schultz, Taylor, Maya and Isabelle Val, his great grandchild Brayden Val,
his sister Diane (Wayne) Najjar, and his Uncle Rico (Olga) Oliva and
numerous cousins.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 21st from 2-4PM at
Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel.
