June Nixon
Jan 7, 1930 — Jan 21, 2018
June E. Nixon passed away peacefully at the Venice Hospice House on January 21, 2018. She was born to the late Albert N. and Hazel B. Ellis in Alliance, Ohio on January 7, 1930.
After graduating Valedictorian from Alliance High School, June went to study nursing. She married her high school sweetheart, the late George F. Nixon and assisted him in his veterinary practice at the Alliance Animal Hospital until his retirement in 1991.
June and George were blessed with 63 years of marriage and three daughters. June was much loved and shall me missed by her family; Kimberly and Anker Bell, Sandra and Jan Holtzman, Susan and Edward Velardi; her grandchildren, Madison Bell, Anderson Bell and Liadain Velardi; and her sister, Florence McCausland. Her brother, George Ellis, preceded her in death.
June will be interred with the husband, George at Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance, Ohio.
