Karen Evelyn Mcmullen

Karen Evelyn McMullen, 69, of Venice, FL, passed away on April 10, 2018. Karen moved to Venice in 1972 from Prospect, CT and was a nurse at Venice Hospital for over 40 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, and puzzles and card games. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Jeanne (H. Wayne) Bargdill of Venice, FL and Meagan Crystal McMullen of Sarasota, FL; son, Jason Dennis McMullen of North Port, FL; siblings Holly and Buster; grandchildren, Crystal, Anna, Christopher, Brendin, Codey, SheaLynn, Norah, and Emma; and great grandchildren Jayce and Bryce. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to All Children's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 10AM at Venice United Church of Christ. Inurnment will be held for family at Sarasota National Cemetery. Farley Funeral Homes & Crematory is handling arrangements.
