Karen K. Sachkar

Karen K. Sachkar, age 68, of Venice, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was born to Cleon and Virginia Kern on May 5, 1948 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Karen moved to the Venice area from Lakeland 34 years ago and was a Homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and was very artsy. She loved the outdoors which included camping and hiking in both Florida and Tennessee. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Steve and her three children; Patrick, Kevin and Amanda all of Venice. She also leaved behind her four loving grandchildren; Kevin David, Austin, Rafe, Lexi and daughter-in-law, Kate. The family will have a private service at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wildlife Center of Venice, Inc., 3252 Border Road, Venice, Florida 34292. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
