Kevin Miller, age 62, of Nokomis, FL, died on December 28, 2016. He was born Pontiac, Michigan on July 8, 1954. Kevin worked as a real estate agent with Century 21 Aztec in Port Charlotte then with Century 21 Beggins in Sarasota. He was a Broker with Sunbeach Financial, and owner of Sunbeach Home Concierge. He also worked for Arrone Hardware as the Store Manager for over 30 years in Logansport, IN where he gained experience in electrical, plumbing, construction and general maintenance. His passions were boating, dancing, singing, hunting, fishing, basketball and reading. As well as he loved all types of flowers. He was a member of the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee and the Sarasota Sailing Club. He was always smiling and would make you laugh daily. Every morning he would sing while looking out to the canal ""Oh What a Beautiful Morning"". He had so many Kevinismsâ¦.""Oh for the Love"" and ""What's the Deal?"" were his favorites. Always smiling you were instantly drawn in by his hearty laugh and friendliness. He was always assisting everyone in need, picking up loose trash wherever he went, as he always carried a trash bag with him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Smith Miller.
Kevin is survived by his wife Barbel ""Bobbie"" (Swat) Miller. His dad, Harvey Miller (Barbara), his sons, Ryan Miller (Tabitha), Rhett Miller (Stacy), Eric Swat; grandchildren, Wyatt, Emmett and Samantha.
His siblings, Maureen (Mark), LeeAnn (Kelly), Dawn, and David (Barbara) long with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Shining Light Church, 8500 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34240 on Saturday, January 7th at 2:00 pm.
