Linda L. Lamar

Linda L. LaMar, age 71, of Venice, FL died on May 28, 2014. She was born in Utica, NY on July 15, 1942. She moved to Venice 8 years ago from New York. Linda worked as an RN specializing in surgery. She was a Red Cross volunteer, and served as a county Board Member and Officer. She is survived by her husband, James C. of Venice; sons James K. (Linda) of Evansville, IN, Timothy L. (Jennifer) of Clayton, NC, and Evan T. (Amy) of Venice; grandchildren Justin (Holly) , Megan, Kegan, and Calvin; and great grandchildren James, Keith, and Zane. Visitation will be at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, from 9 - 12 noon on Tuesday, June 3rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Epiphany Cathedral on Thursday, 6/5, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Red Cross, Southwest Florida Chapter, 2001 Cantu Court, Sarasota, FL 34232.
