Loretta Kriebel

Loretta A.Fenn Kriebel (nee Murphy) Loretta passed away on February 10, 2017 at Englewood Community Hospital after a sudden illness. Loretta was born to Charles and Anna Murphy in 1943. She was raised in the East Akron and Ellet communities. Loretta was in the class of 1961 at Ellet High School. It was at Ellet she met her first husband, Dennis Fenn. They were married for 39 years before his passing. They had two children, Keith and Greg. In 1968, Dennis and Loretta bought an asphalt maintenance company and created a successful small business in the Akron area until 2002. In 2001, Loretta married Jerry Kriebel. They retired to Arkansas, where they remodeled a home and had 7 acres of land. Jerry passed away in 2004. In 2004, Loretta happily relocated to sunny and warm Florida. She loved her little home and community and was very content. Loretta would have been very proud to celebrate her 30th year of sobriety this year in May. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Dennis and husband Jerry. She was also preceded by her son Gregory and grandson Andrew Fenn. She is survived by her son Keith (Zonna) and her five siblings Richard, Dennis, Charlene Shaffer, Martin and Charles. A graveside service is being planned at East Akron Cemetery in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 11:00am by Pastor Carolyn Griffeth. Farley Funeral Home, North Port, FL is assisting with arrangements. Donations may be given to a charity of your choice or to United Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
