Louis J. Wallace of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, with his beloved wife, Maisie, by his side, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, integrity, and love for his family.

Born on July 24, 1938, in Nelson, New Brunswick, Canada, Lou grew up with a strong sense of purpose and determination. He graduated from St. Thomas University in New Brunswick, where he laid the foundation for a distinguished career and a lifelong appreciation for learning.

Lou was the beloved husband of Maisie Wallace and a devoted father to Jimmy and Trish Wallace of Windham, New Hampshire, and Greg Wallace of Dallas, Texas. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Katie, J.P., Mina, and Jakob.

For more than 30 years, Lou built a distinguished career as an insurance executive with Sun Life of Canada. Colleagues and friends knew him as a respected leader whose professionalism, work ethic, and integrity earned the admiration of all who worked with him.

Lou had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially cherished the time he spent in Bonne Bay, Newfoundland. The beauty, tranquility, and natural splendor of the region brought him great joy and provided the setting for many treasured memories with family and friends.

Above all, Lou treasured his family. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren and valued every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.

Lou will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, steadfast character, and unwavering commitment to family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Maisie Wallace; his children, Jimmy and Trish Wallace of Windham, New Hampshire, and Greg Wallace of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Katie, J.P., Mina, and Jakob.

Services will be private.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
