Louise L. Moulton

August 29, 1930 — July 21, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Louise L. Moulton, who departed this life on July 21, 2025, in Venice, Florida, at the age of 94. Born on August 29, 1930, in Sarasota, Florida, Louise was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother whose legacy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Louise was the proud mother of Earl Moulton, Nancy Hodges, and Ann Tison. She was not only a devoted mother, but a caring grandmother for her 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: sister Hazel Dykes and brothers Buddy and Louie Baggett, yet her spirit and values live on through her descendants.

Throughout her life, Louise was known for her strong work ethic and her commitment to her family. She served as a housekeeper for Sam Davis at his residence on Casey Key. Louise also found great joy working at various nurseries and gardens, where her love for nature flourished.

Louise had a deep passion for cooking where she excelled, was an avid gardener and fisherman. Her artistic talents shined through in her love for drawing and painting, particularly landscapes that captured the world as she saw it through her creative lens. Though she could be feisty and firm at times, her warmth and love for her children and grandchildren were unwavering. She was considerate of others and respected hard work, traits that earned her the admiration of all who knew her. Those who knew her well could attest to her principles and her ability to speak her mind with a wink and a grin.

The family will celebrate Louise's remarkable life with a service at the First Baptist Church of Osprey, located at 265 N Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229, on Tuesday, July 29th at 10:00 AM.

You will be dearly missed, but your love and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew you. Thank you for the memories, for your laughter, and for teaching us the value of hard work and love for family. We love you with all our hearts, may you rest in peace.
