Marie Elwell

Marie Elwell passed away quietly at home on May 25 joining her husband Arthur (""Ozzie"") who passed in 2007. Marie worked much of her career in Washington D.C. for the Federal government including a period in the White House during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. She and Ozzie moved to Venice about 35 years ago. While she had no children of her own she was devoted to her nephew Roger Heine and niece Cindy Weidner and their families. She is also survived by her brother Henry Heine and step-daughters Marlene Gibson and Nancy Smith. A memorial service will be held at Venice Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 28th.
