Mary Brown

Mary Ruth Brown, 84, of Venice, FL, died on August 31, 2014. She was born on November 2, 1929 to Randald Farris and Bertha Mae Farber in Foster, OK. Mary Ruth Farris married Sidney Charles Brown from Tulsa in 1971. Together, they lived in Tulsa and enjoyed running the family business and traveling the world. Her other hobbies included gourmet cooking, art collecting, and politics. Later, they retired to Florida enjoying the beach, golf, and their cat, Charlie Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include the families of her cousin, Patricia Ann Cook, of Clive, IA, and her sister-in-law, Peggy Bernice Parsons of Tulsa, OK.
