Michael William Loos

Michael William Loos, age 28, of Venice, FL, our hero, our son, and our special angel, passed away on February 11, 2018. He was a native of Venice graduating Venice High School in 2007 and earning an AA degree from State College of Florida. Michael enjoyed studying world religions and philosophy and was a member of the Philosophy Club at SCF. He was very active at his church, assisting with their technology needs. Michael was also a supporter of environmental causes and participated in many activities to improve our natural surroundings. His favorite meals included sushi and Indian food. When he could, Michael enjoyed playing his guitar. Surviving family members include his parents, Calvin and Linda Loos of Venice; grandmother Virginia Loos Mathews; a loving extended family and his dog and companion, Brandy. Visitation will be at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, on Saturday, February 17th from 2-5 pm. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at Unity Church in Venice on Sunday, February 18th at 1 pm.
