Millicent D. "Milli" Linn

Millicent ""Milli"" D. Linn, 95, of Sarasota, FL passed away March 30, 2017. Milli was born January 31, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY to Augusta Irene (Broder) and Max A. Goldberg. A World War II U.S. Veteran, Milli was a dietician in the Army Medical Corp. She volunteered extensively for the Veterans in many capacities, including at Sarasota National Cemetery. Milli was awarded Woman Veteran of the Year, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Linn, and her daughter, Robin Hooper. Survivors include her daughter, Maxine Hammett of Rock Hill, SC; two step daughters, Patricia Nadig of Ashville, NC and Hazel Knapp of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 4, at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made in Milli's memory to your favorite charity.
