Naomi O'Connell

Naomi Sue O'Connell, 76, of Venice, FL, formerly of Delton, MI, passed away on October 28, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, and is now at peace residing with her Lord and Savior. Naomi was born on February 26, 1941 to Dallas and Mary Peters in Allegan, MI. She was a devoted wife and mother.Naomi loved her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, golfing, arts and crafts, and her life in the Florida sunshine. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert; sons Tim (Pattie Cheney), Dan, and Joel (Ora); daughter Amanda (Michael Sanger); grandchildren MJ, Danielle Sanger, Amelia (Trevor Glupker), Amber and Tiffani O'Connell; and several nieces and nephews. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Char, Carole, Dorothy, and Jean, and her brothers Rodger and Gary. Memorial contributions may be made to any food bank of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring.
