Pamela A. Freitag, nee Wysocki, 64, of North Venice, formerly of Milwaukee, WI passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1947 to Telesfore and Genevieve Wysocki. Pamela spent most of her life raising and caring for her family. She also had a special love and admiration for children, especially reflected in her deep love for her grandchildren. That love and care found its ultimate expression in her becoming a teacher, with a special emphasis on and love for preschool education. Pamela is survived by her loving husband Jeffrey, daughter Jennifer and her husband Joseph, son Matthew and his wife Nancy, dear grandchildren Genevieve, Carter, Chase, & Jason, brothers Telesfore & Mark, and so many wonderful, dear family members and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday, January 22nd, and a prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Pamela on Monday, January 23rd, 10:00 am at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel has been selected to care for arrangements. In lieu of flowers, Pamela’s family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and cancer-related organizations and societies.
