Patricia E. Norrington

Patricia E. Norrington, 74, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Greenwood, IN, died on October 26, 2012. Patricia worked many jobs in her lifetime, Creative Packaging, McDonald’s, Eli Lilly, Center Grove Schools, and Marsh Grocery stores. She retired in 1994 and moved to the area. Survivors include her husband, John K. Norrington, of Ellenton, FL; daughter Susan (Stanley) Burkes of Union, MS; sons Kenny (Bobbie Pearson, Joyce) Norrington of Hoopeston, IL; Robert (Denise) Norrington of Ruskin, FL; brothers Paul Cooper of Onalaska, TX; Ronald (Jane) Cooper of Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Wendell and Sarah Cooper, and brother James Cooper. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30th from 10AM-12Noon with a funeral service beginning at 12Noon at Farley Funeral Home, 246 Nokomis Avenue, Venice, FL 34285. Burial will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292. A celebration of life reception will be held at Ridgewood Meadows, 3461 Stephanie Lane, Ellenton, FL 34222 from 3pm-5pm.
