Paul D. Werner

Paul recently passed away at his home. Paul was born in Marlboro Mass., and grew up in Springfield, Vermont. He graduated from Springfield High School with the Class of 1977. He served as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard for 12 years, and later was employed as an electrician. Before moving to Venice, Paul worked at the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. Paul enjoyed boating, and riding a motorcycle. Paul is survived by his wife Debra, of Delaware, a daughter, Brenda Pitts, of St. Lucie, Fl., Lyn Werner of Delaware, and a son Robert Werner of Pa. His parents, David and Donna Werner of Palmetto, Fl. Paul is also survived by his grandmother, Olive Greenough, of Vermont. Paul has a sister, Vicki Swan of Vermont, and two brothers, Craig Werner of Texas, and William Werner of Ca. Paul has 5 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be determined by the family. Any donations may be made to the Sun Coast Humane Society of Englewood, Florida, as Paul was an avid animal lover.
