Ralph Mario Spada

Ralph Mario Spada, 92, of Venice, FL passed away December 11, 2017. Mario was born September 5, 1925 in Hoboken, NJ. A US Navy Veteran, LTJG Spada earned Campaign Medals for his service during WWII in the Asiatic-Pacific and American Theatres. A Math Teacher for Syosset School District, Mario retired in 1991 after forty years. Mario was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, in 2014. He is survived by two daughters, Nanette Lee and Pamela Lott, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and one brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM (please arrive by 9:45 AM), Tuesday, December 19, at Epiphany Cathedral Chapel, followed by burial at Sarasota National Cemetery.
