Raymond Okeson

Raymond “Ed the Plumber” Okeson, 76, of Venice, FL formerly of Hebron, IL died on January 10, 2012. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge. Ed enjoyed many passions during his life. He loved his work, Ed’s Plumbing. He was an avid golfer; he enjoyed playing cards, bowling, traveling, and sports in general. He loved his family and his dogs. Survivors include his wife, Karen Jenkins Okeson, of Venice, FL; sons Stan (Diana) Okeson of Sarasota, FL and Brad Okeson of Apopka, FL; daughters Shar (Bruce) De Joy of Sarasota, FL and Laura (Scott) Spencer of Sarasota, FL; sisters Linda (Reg) Price of CO and Carolyn (Ed) Szklanecki of IL; brother Gene (Phyllis) Okeson of KY; and three grandchildren, Rachel De Joy, Nicholas De Joy, and Kevin Spencer. The family especially thanks Dr. Harold Kaplan for his care and concern.
