Richard C. Hannon

View Video Tribute Richard C. Hannon of Venice, FL formerly of Agawam and Holland, MA passed away February 19, 2012. He was born in Springfield, MA on June 11, 1934 to Harold and Rose Hannon. He was a graduate of Agawam High School where he met his wife of 57 years, Ann-Sybil. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Richard retired from Western Massachusetts Electric Company in Springfield, MA after 37 years. He was a former selectman for the town of Holland, MA and a youth advisor at the Holland Congregational Church. He was an active member of the Venice East Golf Association and a Men’s League Champion, as well as achieving five holes in one on the course. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Ann-Sybil; daughters Lynn Byer (Robert) of North Port, FL and Susan Lascelles (Louis) of Ewington, OH; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lynn, and Jamie; and his brother, Harold Hannon (Joy) of Agawam, MA.
