Robert Kevin "Bob" Doherty

Robert Kevin Doherty, 67, of North Venice, FL died unexpectedly from complications due to pulmonary fibrosis on November 17, 2013. Bob was born February 4, 1946 in Boston, MA to Thelma Margaret (McCauley) and Charles E. Doherty. A graduate of Matignon High School 1963, North Cambridge, MA and a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor's Degree, he had a longstanding career with Jostens, having retired in 2011. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Joan (Doherty) Groothoff of Augusta, ME and brother, Jack Doherty (also a Matignon High School, Class of 1951 and 1955 B.C. graduate) of Waterville, ME. Survivors include his wife, June Garber Doherty; brother, Richard T. Doherty of Winchester, MA; sons, Robert Kevin Doherty, Jr. and Matthew James Doherty, both of Marshfield, MA; two granddaughters, Gia and Ashtynn and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
