Robert R Mann

Robert R. Mann, age 76, of Nokomis, FL, passed away on March 7, 2017. He was born in Allen Township, PA on October 16, 1940, and moved to Nokomis in September 2016. Robert worked as an electrician for Western Electric for 35 years before retiring. Robert's passion was farming and restoring old tractors. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Carolyn, in their motor home across the US and Canada. He also liked golfing, and working at the bicycle shop in Kings Gate Park. Robert was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Venice. Surviving family members include his wife of 57 years, Carolyn; daughters Debra Batz (Timothy), Robin Ruch (Kerry), and Kelly Altemose (Scott); sisters Shirley, Arlene, Nancy and Dolores; brother R.J.; step sisters Iona and Ann; step brothers Walter, Glenn, and Terry; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step sister Brenda and Step brother Jerry. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of choice.
