Robert J. Munley

Robert J. Munley, Sr., 87, of Venice, FL, formerly of Columbus, OH died December 22, 2011. Bob was born April 15, 1924 in Cleveland, OH to Lillian (Kaftan) and Joseph Munley. Bob was a 1949 graduate of John Carroll University and was a member of the alumni club. Bob retired from AT&T in 1985. He was head usher for many years at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice and was involved in many church activities. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Margaret Munley in 2006. Survivors include his children: Robert Munley, Jr. of Columbus, OH, Patricia Hartman of South Bloomingville, OH, Barbara (Victor) Miranda of San Diego, CA, Mark Munley of Columbus, OH, Thomas (Karen) Munley of Sagamore Hills, OH, Mary Lynn Bowman of Venice, FL; granddaughters: Cody Lynn Bowman, Margaret Helen “Maggie” Munley, Shelby Lynn Bowman, Alex Stone and Sydney Lynn Bowman; extended family and friends, Scott Bowman, Sandy Munley, John “Nick” Lisska, sister-in-law, many other relatives and special friends, Jack and Ronnie McCormick.
