Rocco F. Loverchio (Pappa Rock) formally from Garnerville, NY, passed away suddenly May 4, 2012 in Venice, Florida. He was born on 12/27/1942 in Suffern, NY to Marie McGovern and Rocco Loverchio Sr. Predeceased by son Rocco F. Loverchio III. Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend Sandy (Burkert), daughters Suzette Loverchio ,Venice, FL, Chicky (Janine) Frank (Dennis), Myrtle Beach, SC, Grandchildren Samantha, Roni, DJ, Christopher, Deedle, Anthony, and Gianna. Sister Fran (Don) Stier, Show Low, AZ, brothers Patrick (Susan) Ferracane, Monroe, NY and Vincent Ferracane, Stony Point, NY; Brother-in-Laws Joe Burkett, Chris Burkett, Mike Burkett and many nieces and nephews. Retired from Avon Products in 2002 after 27 years then moved to Venice, Florida, where he enjoyed the warm weather and searching for shark teeth in the Gulf of Mexico. He could be found puttering in the garage, yard and also searching for treasures. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and neighbors.
