Roy Gowain Stanley

Roy Gowain Stanley, age 94, of Venice, Florida, passed away on May 30, 2014. He was born on January 4, 1920 in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines and served during World War II. He worked for Exxon/Mobil for over 30 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Morse and Susan Barker, both of Venice; a son-in-law, John Barker of Venice; two grandchildren, Mike Barker and Tracey Morse (Brian) Gold and a great-granddaughter, Gracyn Alana.
