Sara "Sally" Collins

Sally Collins, 84, of Nokomis Florida, formerly of Winfield Illinois, died on October 6, 2016. Sally was a teacher at The Hawthorne School in Wheaton Illinois and retired in 1972, a life guard at a local swim club for 2 years, lived on Casey Key for 32 years, was Director Emeritus of the Casey Key library association, a 20 year member of the Venice Yacht Club, a member of Sarasota Tiger Bay Club, and was in the Pi Beta Phi sorority at the University of Louisville. Survivors include her husband, Will Collins of Nokomis Florida; son, Ted Collins of Stuart Florida; Daughter, Amy Johnson of Winfield Illinois; grandchildren Ellyse Collins, Sara Collins, Ashley Johnson, Blair Arlington; and a great granddaughter Kallie Johnson. There are no local services planned at this time.
