Stanley (Stan) R. Wright, 70, of Venice, Florida, formerly of St. Clair Shores, Michigan died on Jan. 25, 2014 of a heart attack at the Venice Yacht Club, one of his favorite places. He loved music, dancing, theater, cooking, competitive sports and card-playing. He was a gentleman with a playful sense of humor and a kind and helpful nature. He is survived by his wife, Cora, his three sons, three stepchildren and five grandchildren. Friends are invited to join us on Sunday, February 9, from 1-3 p.m. at the Venice Yacht Club Tiki Bar for the “Wright Send-Off” celebrating Stan’s life.
