Thomas Francis "Pat" O'Hara

Thomas Francis ("Pat") O'Hara, 87, of Southwest Florida passed away on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. Born in Syracuse, NY; Mr. O’Hara graduated in 1957 from the Onondaga Valley Academy.

He served his country at the rank of Corporal in the United States Marine Corp Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1966.

Mr. O’Hara was employed for 40 years in sales at Kelley Brothers Hardware. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He loved being near the water.

Mr. O’Hara married Carol Ann Walsh in 1963. The couple would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year on October 26th.

Mr. O'Hara is predeceased by his parents, Thomas G O'Hara and Clara Mapstone O'Hara; and his brother, Charles E O'Hara of Westvale.

In addition to his beloved wife, Carol, Mr. O’Hara is survived by his two children: Heather O'Hara Cappadonia (Nicholas) of Hamlin, NY, and by Patrick M O'Hara (Carrie) of Burlington, NJ. Additionally, he is also survived by three grandchildren: Nicholas Christopher Cappadonia, Joshua Jordan Cappadonia, and Timothy Miles O’Hara; his sister, Sally Liddell of Marcy; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
