Timothy F. Mcqueeney, Jr.

Timothy F. McQueeney, Jr., 71, husband of Jeannette Radocchio McQueeney, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Venice Regional Bayfront Hospital. Born in Derby, CT on December 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Timothy F. McQueeney, Sr. and Helen Sciongay McQueeney. Tim grew up in Shelton, CT and played baseball throughout his youth with the Little League and the Babe Ruth League, he was the co-captain of his high school team, and even went on to play semi-pro baseball. He graduated from Shelton High School and attended the Connecticut School of Electronics, as well as the University of Connecticut. Tim served in the U.S. Army National Guard while working as a manager for the Singer Company in Bridgeport. He then worked as a manager for Practical Automation in Shelton until he opened his own company, Incal Service Corporation, an electronics service firm in Stamford. A lifelong Connecticut resident, a snowbird with his wife Jeannette for 12 years, and now a permanent resident of Venice, Tim was retired and living in the Venetian Golf and River Club. He was a parishioner of St. Margaret's Shrine in Bridgeport, CT and Our Lady of Lourdes Church here in Venice. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2220, the Port 5 Association of Naval Veterans, American Legion Post 143, and the Moose Lodge #289. Besides his wife Jeannette, survivors include his son Timothy F. McQueeney, III and his wife Cammie, their children, grandsons Timothy McQueeney IV and Aaron McQueeney of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, his daughter Kelly Malone and her husband Marine Major Sam Malone, currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan with their three children, grandson James Braxton Malone and granddaughters Mackenzie Kirkland Malone and Keegan Alexia Malone, his brother Frank McQueeney and his wife Patricia of Ansonia, CT, his sister Carol Pokladowski and her husband Jack of Sandy Hook, CT, three nephews, Kevin McQueeney, Timothy Pokladowski, and Jack Pokladowski, his brother-in-law Frank Radocchio and his wife Joan, uncles, aunts, cousins, and so many dear friends. An avid baseball player and fan, Tim loved all sports. He loved music and dancing, having fun, and basically just enjoying life.
