Viola "Babe, Ma And Nonie" Diperna

Viola DiPerna, 87, of North Port, FL passed away peacefully, with family at her side on October 17, 2013. Viola was born September 28, 1926 in New London, CT to the late Viola Veronica (Kozlowski) and Stephen F. Stubelick. Viola graduated Everett High School in Everett, MA in 1947. She was a shoe model for Edwin Case in Boston, worked for many years at Hallmark Cards and was a member of Sons of Italy. She enjoyed bingo, sewing, crocheting & knitting, baking and loved to go on cruises. Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Paul DiPerna; children: Diane Conti of Rye, NH, Paula Chiapperini of North Port; Estelle Clark of Peabody, MA; 7 grandchildren: Angela Ewing, Danielle Conti-Owens, Stephen Chiapperini, Jessica Domenech, Vanessa Chiapperini, Anthony Chiapperini and Eric Clark; 9 great grandchildren: Sydney, Emmett, Iain, Lindsey, Isabel, Dylan, Thalia, Kayla, JuJu and 2 great great grandchildren: Addison and Florence. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM with a Prayer Service at 12:30 PM, Monday, October 21 at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel followed by Graveside Service at 2:30 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery.
