Vito Benevenga, Sr.

Vito Benevenga Sr., age 82, of North Port, FL. (formerly Garfield, NJ) Passed away on Saturday January 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Vito was born in Salerno, Italy in 1934. He moved to America at the age of 16. Vito worked hard to bring his parents Dominick and Constanza (both predeceased) to America. Vito retired after 30 years from Okonite Cables in Paterson, NJ. Vito is survived by his wife Leona of 59 years, brother Alex, Son Vito Jr. and his wife Maria, Son Michael and his wife Rosemary, Son Frank and his wife Wendy, Daughter Roseann and her husband Dennis, Son James and his wife Mary. Grandchildren, Leona, Christina, Vita, Dennis, Michael, Justin, Erica, and Danielle. Great Grandchildren, Gabriella, Siena, Tyler, Jacob, Andrew Wallace and Alessandra. Vito will be missed by his Family and friends, from Florida to New Jersey and to Kansas. He has helped and touched so many lives. We will honor his memory for years to come.
