Walter Scott Joslyn

Walter Scott Joslyn, long time resident of Chicago, passed away in his home in Venice, Florida at the age of 87. Walter is the former owner of the Walter S. Joslyn Construction Company in Chicago. He was the 4th generation in that business. A 50 year member of the Chicago Bricklayers Union, he was appointed by the Mayor Jane Byrne to the Chicago Mason’s Board. Walter was a World War II veteran, as a Boatswain’s Mate First Class, participating in 3 Major Invasions. Walter is survived by his wife, Edna Mae of 63 years, his two daughters, Megene Forker of Chicago and Nancie Anderson of Anna Marie Island, Florida, his two sons, Scott Joslyn and Mark Joslyn, both of Chicago and nine grandchildren. Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Venice, FL will be November 18, 2013 at 11:00A.M.
