Walter John Sachse

View Video Tribute Walter John Sachse, age 66, of North Port, FL, died on January 12, 2012. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut and came to North Port 10 years ago from New Haven, CT. To Walter, family was most important. The happiness of his daughters and wife was essential to him. He had friends everywhere he went. Walter enjoyed watching wrestling and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also liked puzzles and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Kim, of North Port; daughters Lisa Scoppetto (Dominic) of Connecticut, Amber Beth Zelina (Craig) of North Port, Emery Bowman (David) of North Port, and Shannon Komor (Jeffrey) also of North Port; brothers George Sachse (Donna) of North Port, and Robert Sachse of Connecticut; grandchildren Angelina, Andre, Dominic, Mackenzie, and Paulina; Marc and Tiffany Sachse and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Helen Sachse and a sister, Elizabeth Barrett. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel on Friday, January 20th at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.
