Walter William Taylor

Walter William Taylor, Sr., 75, of Osprey, Florida, passed away on October 23, 2012. Born on April 13, 1937, in Poughkeepsie, New York, he received his bachelor’s degree at Northeastern University in Electrical Engineering and worked in the Computer Industry. He was a long term board member of the Sorrento Villa Condo Association, serving as treasurer and secretary for many years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Winifred Clark Taylor of Sarasota and his three daughters, Jenny Reks, Susan (Dale) Rappaneau, Nancy Nicholson; two sons, Brian (Bonnie) Taylor and Walter Taylor, Jr. Walter leaves behind eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, George Taylor and several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be announced at a later date. Inurnment will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Osprey. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
