William L. Gerry

William L. Gerry, 85, of Venice, formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away April 18, 2012 with his family at his side. Mr. Gerry was a Police Sergeant with the New York City Police Department, retiring in 1968. He spent the next 15 years as a representative for Fedders Air Conditioning. Preceded in death by his daughter Mary Kiesel and infant son Gerard, Bill is survived by his loving wife Beverly, sons William D. Gerry and his wife Cathleen of Venice, Lawrence R. Gerry and his wife Gail of Jupiter, FL, and Russell J. Gerry and his wife Judith of Holmes, NY, daughter Valerie Cotton and her husband Tim of Englewood, FL, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, April 20th at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, with interment following in Venice Memorial Gardens.
