He is survived by his wife, Carole P. Hill; children; Anna-Lisa Hill, William Hill III and husband Johnnie, James Porter and wife Jennifer; grandchildren; James Jr., Alexandra and Thomas Porter; siblings; Gloria A. Hill – Dennison, Richard A. Hill and wife Sheila; niece; Kristina Hill and nephews; Scott Hodgkins and Mark Hodgkins.
