William "Jeff" Mckinstry

William ""Jeff"" McKinstry, age 65, of Venice, FL, passed away on March 7, 2018. He was born to Lewis and Faye McKinstry on 1/30/53 in Fayetteville, NC. He relocated to Venice from New Port Richey in 2016 to be closer to his grandchildren. Jeff retired from General Electric in Mebane, NC where he had worked for 12 years. Jeff loved sports. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Rays fan, and enjoyed watching his grandson, Jacob, at his Little League games. Jeff also enjoyed participating in a bowling league for many years. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Cimillo, her husband Felix, their two sons Jacob, age 6 and Matthew, age 3; and his brother Jimmy McKinstry and his wife Beth Warren McKinstry. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be directed to Metal Health Community Centers, 240B South Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, FL 34237.
