Brandon Chanhthakoummane Ros

Brandon Chanthakoummane Ros, age 28, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on April 7, 2026. Brandon was born on December 15, 1997, in Sacramento, California, to Reth and Bea. He attended Lowell High School in Lowell, Massachusetts, and Stagg High School in Stockton, California.

Brandon had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, hiking, or cruising on his longboard, he was always outside enjoying life and doing things his own way. He also had a passion for music, playing the ukulele, and making beats with his dad. When he wasn’t outside, you could probably find him locked into a video game with family and friends - talking a little trash and having a good time.

He was known for his bright smile and naturally joyful spirit. Brandon brought warmth and energy wherever he went and was always ready to help someone out. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, like they’d known him forever. Brandon will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his love for animals, and the way he kept things light - even on tough days. He lived life fully, stayed true to himself, and made sure the people around him were laughing right along with him.

He is survived by his parents, Reth and Bea; his siblings: Andrew, Enthanou, and Rochelle; his grandfather, Mao; his uncles: Brian, Ratt, Ramnn, Robert, and Richard; his aunts, Cindy and Leang; his cousins: Phillip, Annalisia, and Leeann; along with many extended family members.

A message from his father: “I love you. See you when I see you.” Rest in peace, Brandon.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell, with a funeral service to begin right after at 1:00 pm. Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. (208) 459-0833
