Gary Floyd Travis, born January 30, 1947, in Nampa, Idaho, went home to be with Jesus on March 1, 2026. He was surrounded by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Travis, and his father, Henry Travis, both of Wilder, Idaho; his sister, Linda Wasill of Washington; and great-grandson, Arthur Carlson of Bloomington, Illinois.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Travis; his five children: Wessley (Nori) Travis of Wilder, Idaho, Jenni (Scott) Bruemmer of Towanda, Illinois, Michael (Kaileigh) Travis of Wilder, Idaho, Michelle (Ryan) Martin of Meridian, Idaho, and Pamela (Chris) Hiebert of Boise, Idaho; his brothers, Wayne (Mary) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Steve (Elaine) of Salem, Oregon; his sister, Sharon (Bob) Hobbs; and many cherished grandchildren (14) and great-grandchildren (10).

Gary took over the family farm in Wilder, where he continued the dairy and farming operations with dedication until his retirement in 2010. He and Shirley shared many joyful adventures, including trips to national parks, the Oregon and California coasts, and cherished time at their mountain cabin.

Above all, Gary loved his family — they were his pride and joy, bringing him immense pleasure every day. He will be remembered with great affection as a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
