Kim Elizabeth Snow

Kim Elizabeth Snow, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband, Allen Mark, with family by her side on September 9, 2025, in Parma, Idaho. She was 64 years old. Kim was born in Modesto, California, on January 21, 1961, to John Huggins, Sr. and Loretta “Gayle” Smith-Stanfill. She grew up in the small farming town of Empire, alongside her siblings, near her grandparents’ farm, tending to the land and developing her green thumb at a very young age.

As a teenager, Kim’s pride and joy was her mustard yellow 1964 ½ Ford Mustang, which she believed made her stand out. Though beautiful, that car could never outshine her warmth, spirit, and vibrant soul, which made her unforgettable. She later made her home in Idaho, where she built a life full of family and friends.

Kim found great joy spending evenings with her loving husband on the farm, always eager to help and be his sidekick. Sharing a life of laughter, support, and teamwork, the two always had each other to rely on after long days apart. She stood proudly at every event her family and grandchildren were involved in. Kim’s legacy of love, resilience, and sass will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who were lucky to know her. Her hands were often busy in the garden, where her green thumb continued to flourish. Her love for flowers and sunsets will forever remind us of her.

For 27 years, Kim dedicated her hard work and pride to St. Alphonsus. She served as a Senior Patient Accounts Representative and was looking forward to her retirement in January 2026. She began her career there in July 1998 at the Family Medicine Clinic, first serving at the front desk. From the beginning, she brought warmth, professionalism, and a deep commitment to patient care. She was a valued colleague, mentor, and dear friend to many. Her close coworkers lovingly called her La Prima, because she was more family than coworker.

Kim is survived by her husband, Allen Mark; her father, John Huggins, Sr. (Eleonore); her son, Steven Snow (Mindy); her stepdaughter, Marquita Mark-Eguia (Ryan); her sister, Carla Huggins; her brothers, John Huggins, Jr. (Donna) and Randy Huggins (Penny); eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Welcoming her into heaven are her mother, Loretta “Gayle” Smith-Stanfill; her son, Kevin Snow; her stepson, Steve Mark; and her granddaughter, Lily Snow.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by services at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Garmin Hill in Wilder.
