Kyara Lashae Engelhart
Feb 7, 2007 — Sep 3, 2026
Kyara Lashae Engelhart, 19, passed away on September 3, 2026, leaving behind family and friends who loved her deeply. Her life was far too short, but the love and memories she created will remain with those who knew her.
Kyara was born in Elko, Nevada, to Ben and Conja Engelhart. She later became a big sister to Nonelle. She spent the earlier years of her life in Elko before moving to Twin Falls, Idaho, and later to Nampa. Nampa became home, where Kyara spent her remainder of her childhood and most of her high school years raised and deeply loved by Grandmae, Mae Engelhart.
Kyara graduated from Ridgeview High School in 2025. She worked at Mesa Tacos before later joining the team at Caldwell Walmart Neighborhood Market.
At the time of her passing, Kyara was excited for the next chapter of her life: becoming a mom. Her baby, Maelynn Marie Lindauer, was born on August 31, 2026. Though Kyara never had the chance to meet or hold her baby girl, Kyara’s excitement and love for Maelynn were known by everyone around her.
Kyara was preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Engelhart; great-grandparents, Bob and Connie Hill; cousins, Myleea Robertson and Matthew Palmer; and great-aunt, Gayle Jacobsen.
Kyara is survived by her father, Ben Engelhart; sister and best friend, Nonelle Engelhart; grandmother, Mae Engelhart; closest cousins and lifelong friends, Rocco Buck and Masen Buck; sweet cousin, Chloe Engelhart; aunt, Cori Ballard (Will); and uncle, Dave Engelhart, along with many extended family and friends who loved her deeply. She is also survived by her mother Conja Schmitz; Rosemary Osterhout; Misty, Trystan and Taryn Souliere; and sister Adrianna Engelhart.
Kyara will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious & contagious laugh, beautiful smile, sense of humor (and sometimes temper), and loving spirit. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
